Your personal care coordinator will see to all your needs for healthy, at-home living. Although your services will be customized to fit your requirements, here is a sampling of the assistance we bring to your home:
Help with daily living:
Your personal care coordinator can assist with bathing, dressing, toileting
and incontinence care, grooming, getting around, feeding and meals prepared
for doctor-ordered diets. He or she will also tend to housekeeping, personal
laundry, running errands, and transport to appointments and social activities.
Respite for family and other caregivers:
Sometimes people just need a break … and Willamette View Home Care is here when
you need us. Whether it’s for a few hours a day or for special extended
situations, Willamette View Home Care can provide trained and bonded individuals who can
allow everyone to carry on with complete peace of mind.
Nursing supervision:
The care you receive is guided by a registered nurse (RN), who is assigned
to you at no extra cost. Your nurse will work with you, your physician or
family to develop an overall plan of care, and then see that your plan
is carried out correctly.
Medication Services:
Your RN will provide in-home supervision of your medications and reminders
according to your doctor’s orders.
Wellness Center
As a Willamette View Home Care client, you gain access to Willamette View’s new 5,600 square foot fitness facility. Clients pay a
nominal wellness evaluation fee, which includes your personalized exercise
program matched specifically to your personal wellness goals. Your
individualized program may include a mix of staff-monitored stretching classes,
balance classes, strength training or cardiovascular exercises at a
per visit fee. Individuals wanting a more in-depth analysis of their gait
and balance, we have additional assessment tools to further evaluate fall
risks and mobility concerns.
For those who prefer more personalized one-on-one professional training, we offer private 30- or 50-minute training sessions. To learn more please call your Willamette View Home Care coordinator for additional details.
Home Maintenance:
All the chores that keep a house running can be easily addressed by your
care coordinator.
Social Activities:
Independence means keeping an active schedule with friends and family. We
make it possible for you to keep up on correspondence, and to get out
(or entertain in) just like you always have.
Pet Care:
From walking your dog to cleaning your cat’s litter box, Willamette View Home Care caregivers tend to the needs of your four-legged companions, including feeding,
grooming and trips to the vet.
Excursion companion:
Your excursion companion will
accompany you and we help manage medications, assist with
personal care, solve mobility challenges, and plan transport.
